FLEXIBLE METALIC PUMP CONNECTOR
CONSTRUCTION:
•Metallic Hose: The primary component of the pump
connector is a flexible metallic hose made of stainless steel
or other corrosion-resistant alloys.
•Braided Wire or Braid Layers: In some designs, the metallic
hose may be reinforced with one or more layers of braided
wire or braid.
•Flexible Bellows or Corrugations: The metallic hose may
feature flexible bellows or corrugations along its length.
•Manufactured with AISI 32 stainless steel with AISI 304
stainless steel single over braid & carbon or stainless
steel end fittings, TIG welded AISI 304/316 stainless steel
Corrugated Hose also available. corrugated tubing (to BS
6501pt.1)

•Maximum pressure rating is based on 40 C operating
temperature

INSTALLATION:
Braided pump connectors are not designed to vibration. For
maximum
efficiency the connectors should be placed in both the pipe
work on the away from the source. absorb lateral
movements
MATERIAL:
•Construction Material: Typically made from stainless steel or
other corrosion-resistant alloys to withstand aggressive fluids
and environments.
•Bellows Material: Stainless steel bellows are commonly used
due to their flexibility, durability, and resistance to corrosion
and high temperatures.
END FITTINGS:
Stainless steel or carbon steel end fittings are welded or
brazed to the bellows to provide connection points to the
pump and piping system. Screwed assemblies-Threaded BSP
Taper Flanged assemblies, to Bs10 table D/BS4504 & ANSI/
ASA standards. Male Hexagon or Half Barrel Fittings
PRESSURE AND TEMPRATURE RATINS:
•Maximum Working Pressure: Typically rated based on the
pressure capacity of the bellows and end fittings. Common
pressure ratings range from 150 psi to 300 psi (10 bar to 20
bar) or higher, depending on the application.
•Temperature Range: Designed to operate within a wide
temperature range, usually from -200°C to +600°C (-328°F to
+1112°F), depending on the materials used and the specific
application requirements.
